This is a top-quality piece of Siberian woolly mammoth ivory (Mammuthus primigenius). The ivory is rock-solid, completely dry, and without cracks. One cross-cut section is narrower than the other because the sides were cut at an angle. The narrower cross-cut section is also thicker than the wider one. Reserves on both ends. The underside is flat. Please carefully look at the pictures for precise dimensions. The color of the ivory is white-cream.
