This is a good-quality piece of Siberian woolly mammoth ivory (Mammuthus primigenius). The ivory of this round piece is rock-solid despite the small cracks. One cross-cut section is slightly thicker than the other. This piece offers plenty of mammoth ivory reserves on both ends. Please carefully look at the pictures for precise dimensions. The color of the ivory is white. The color of the outer layer of bark is beige.
Geological epoch: Pleistocene.
Age: Over 10,000 years.
Origin: Sakha Republic (Yakutia).
