This lot consists of various natural Siberian woolly mammoth bark pieces (Mammuthus primigenius). All pieces are in very good order and are offered in a completely raw, untreated condition. Each piece was hand-picked to form a matching lot. Please carefully look at the pictures for precise dimensions. From what we can see, the color of the outer layer of bark will turn out to be a mix of brown, beige, blue, and cream.
Geological epoch: Pleistocene.
Age: Over 10,000 years.
Origin: Sakha Republic (Yakutia).
These raw mammoth bark pieces are not stabilized and/or filled with resin. Please note that none of our mammoth ivory is artificially stabilized and restored unless explicitly stated.
