This is a top-quality piece of Siberian woolly mammoth ivory (Mammuthus primigenius). The ivory is rock-solid despite the small, non-penetrating fissures. One cross-cut section is significantly thicker and a bit wider than the other. Please carefully look at the pictures for precise dimensions. The color of the ivory is white. The color of the outer layer of bark is a mix of brown, cream, and green.

Geological epoch: Pleistocene.

Age: Over 10,000 years.

Origin: Sakha Republic (Yakutia).
