This is a good-quality piece of Siberian woolly mammoth ivory (Mammuthus primigenius). The ivory is rock-solid despite the small cracks on the thicker cross-cut section. The thicker cross-cut section is also slightly wider than the other. Plenty of reserves on both ends. Please carefully look at the pictures for precise dimensions. The color of the bark is brown.

Geological epoch: Pleistocene.

Age: Over 10,000 years.

Origin: Sakha Republic (Yakutia).
