This is a top-quality piece of Siberian woolly mammoth bark (Mammuthus primigenius). The ivory is rock-solid despite the small, non-penetrating fissures on the underside. One cross-cut section is wider than the other because this piece was cut under an angle. Consistent thickness with reserves on both ends. Please carefully look at the pictures for precise dimensions. The color of the bark is mustard.

Geological epoch: Pleistocene.

Age: Over 10,000 years.

Origin: Sakha Republic (Yakutia).
