This is a top-quality piece of Siberian woolly mammoth bark (Mammuthus primigenius). The ivory is rock-solid without cracks. One side of this piece was cut at multiple angles; as a result, one cross-cut section is wider than the other. Consistent thickness with reserves on both ends. Please carefully look at the pictures for precise dimensions. The color of the bark is brown-orange.

Geological epoch: Pleistocene.

Age: Over 10,000 years.

Origin: Sakha Republic (Yakutia).
