This is a top-quality piece of Siberian woolly mammoth bark (Mammuthus primigenius). The ivory is rock-solid without cracks. One cross-cut section is slightly thicker and narrower than the other. Plenty of reserves on both ends. One side of this piece was cut at an angle – please carefully look at the pictures for precise dimensions. The color of the bark is brown.

Geological epoch: Pleistocene.

Age: Over 10,000 years.

Origin: Sakha Republic (Yakutia).
