This is a top-quality piece of Siberian woolly mammoth bark (Mammuthus primigenius). The ivory is rock-solid despite two tiny, non-penetrating fissures on the thinner cross-cut section. The thinner cross-cut section was cut at angles – that is why it is also narrower than the other side. Reserves on both ends. Please carefully look at the pictures for precise dimensions. The color of the bark is brown.

Geological epoch: Pleistocene.

Age: Over 10,000 years.

Origin: Sakha Republic (Yakutia).
