This is a top-quality piece of Siberian woolly mammoth bark (Mammuthus primigenius). The ivory is rock-solid despite the small, non-penetrating cracks on the cross-cut section which was cut at angles. Consistent thickness with reserves on both ends. Please carefully look at the pictures for precise dimensions. The color of the bark is a beautiful brown-green.

Geological epoch: Pleistocene.

Age: Over 10,000 years.

Origin: Sakha Republic (Yakutia).
