This is a top-quality piece of Siberian woolly mammoth bark (Mammuthus primigenius). The ivory is rock-solid despite one tiny, non-penetrating fissure on the edge of one cross-cut section. One cross-cut section is wider than the other because this piece was cut at angles. Consistent thickness with reserves on both ends. Please carefully look at the pictures for precise dimensions. The color of the bark is brown-blue.
