This is a top-quality piece of Siberian woolly mammoth bark (Mammuthus primigenius). The ivory is rock-solid despite the small, non-penetrating crack on one cross-cut section and side. One cross-cut section is slightly thicker and wider than the other. The color of the bark is beige.

Age: Over 10,000 years.

Origin: Sakha Republic (Yakutia).
