This is a top-quality piece of Siberian woolly mammoth bark (Mammuthus primigenius). The ivory is rock-solid without cracks. One cross-cut section is thicker and wider than the other. Reserves on both ends. This piece is curved – please carefully look at the pictures for precise dimensions. The color of the bark is a mix of brown, beige, green, and blue.

Geological epoch: Pleistocene.

Age: Over 10,000 years.

Origin: Sakha Republic (Yakutia).

This multicolored mammoth bark is not stabilized and is filled with resin. Please note that none of our mammoth ivory is artificially stabilized and restored unless explicitly stated.
