This is a good-quality piece of Siberian woolly mammoth bark (Mammuthus primigenius). The ivory is rock-solid despite the small cracks. One cross-cut section is thicker and narrower than the other. Reserves on both ends. Please carefully look at the pictures for precise dimensions. The color of the ivory is white. The color of the outer layer of bark is cream.

Geological epoch: Pleistocene.

Age: Over 10,000 years.

Origin: Sakha Republic (Yakutia).
